A thick walled, terracotta head section from the upper lid portion of a sarcophagus with relief sculpted facial features and a goatee. Some areas of painted white pigment with black details. Large chip to lower rim and fragmented goatee reattached with some losses, loss to lower right side, stable hairline at center of interior. Old metal mount. Period: Roman Period, ca. 3rd-4th century A.D. Size: 15"H. x 14"W.

Egyptian Bronze and Alabaster Eyes, Late New Kingdom, ca., 1307-1069 BCE These almond shaped eye inlays have well formed lids and cosmetic lines crafted of bronze. The eyes themselves are made of alabaster. The pupils are in Bronze . The inlays were perhaps from a sarcophagus or a monumental statue. CONDITION: The eye inlays are in fine condition. (also the Eyes comes with stand that holds the eyes). Length: 2.5 Inches.
